Dr. Jay Tarnow is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with over four decades of leadership in clinical psychiatry, research, and healthcare systems design. He is a Life Fellow of both the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association.
A nationally recognized authority on ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and psychosomatic illness, Dr. Tarnow has pioneered approaches to medication selection using pharmacogenetics and qEEG to improve outcomes while minimizing side effects. His work has shaped hospital-based psychiatry programs, outpatient care models, and large-scale mental health systems across the U.S.
